Union Car Show Summer Series
UNION, NJ – By Oscar Alberto Quintana
And thanks to God the rain never came! So it was another successful Wednesday Night Summer Series on Stuyvesant avenue in Union NJ. This time there was a preview of what to expect at the annual fall car show on October 5th. There was an extra mini car display as an extra effort to attract old and young residents alike.

“Wednesday nights are a fantastic time for families to come out and enjoy themselves,” said Township Committeewoman Patricia Guerra-Frazier. “There are toys, music, dancing, great food — just a wonderful atmosphere. It’s something to look forward to every week.”

“We wanted to bring out a few special vehicles to build excitement for the big event this fall,” said Officer Michael Campos of the Union Police Department, one of the organizers of the car show. “We’re incredibly grateful to the car owners who participated — the crowd loved it, and the energy was fantastic.”

This event is sponsored by Union’s Special Improvement District (SID).
The Summer Series includes food offers, live music, outdoor games, local vendors, and restaurant specials.

“Our goal is to bring the community together and boost foot traffic to the Center,” said Maria Sparacio, SID President and owner of The Pink Room. “The businesses really come alive on Wednesday nights — it’s something special.”

The Wednesday Night Summer Series ends at the end of August, running weekly every Wednesday from 6:30 to 9:00 p.m. on Stuyvesant Avenue in Union, New Jersey.
