Bayern Munich knocks out Real Madrid Champions League!

Bayern Munich knocked out Real Madrid in the Champions League quarter-finals on Wednesday, while Arsenal eliminated Sporting Lisbon, booking a spot in the semi-finals.

​A goal by Colombian Luis Díaz levelled the match for Bayern Munich in the 88th minute, and another by Michael Olise in stoppage time secured a 4–3 victory for the German team.

​Real Madrid went into half-time with a 3-2 lead thanks to goals from Arda Güler, who scored the 0-1 goal after just 38 seconds and the 1-2 goal after half an hour.

​Kylian Mbappé made it 2–3 in the 42nd minute for the Merengue team.

​Harry Kane and Pavlović scored for Bayern in the first half of the match at the Allianz Arena.

​The German side will now face Paris Saint-Germain in the semi-finals.

​Meanwhile, Arsenal also secured a place in the semi-finals on Wednesday, eliminating Sporting Lisbon with a 0-0 home draw following a 1-0 away win in the first leg.

​The English team started the game extremely positively, but despite having more of the ball, it was the visitors who came closest to scoring in the first half.

Wednesday’s victory means that Arsenal reached successive semi-finals in the competition for the first time in their history, and they will now play Atlético Madrid for a place in the final. EFE dep-mcd
