Spanish Police frees 7 Sex slaved Latin women!
Barcelona, Nov 4 (EFE).—

Spanish police, in coordination with Europol and Barcelona’s Urban Guard, have freed seven Latin American women who were forced into prostitution after being lured to Spain with fake job offers, authorities said Tuesday.

Twelve suspects were arrested, 10 in Barcelona and two in Valencia, including the three ringleaders of the criminal network, who have been remanded in custody, police said.
The victims, all in vulnerable circumstances, were recruited through social media, where traffickers posted false job offers for modeling, massage, or spa work.

Upon arrival in Spain, the women were confined for weeks in apartments and forced into prostitution to pay off fabricated debts of around 3,000 euros.
Under the guise of job preparation, the women were also compelled to take nude or semi-nude photos, for which they were charged 150 euros, adding to their debt.

The network, based in Barcelona with branches in Madrid and Valencia, operated five brothels, four in Barcelona and one in the Valencian town of Gandía.
The investigation began in March after a police inspection at a Barcelona club, where several women revealed they had been exploited in another city brothel by men they met online.
Authorities said the traffickers confiscated victims’ passports upon arrival and used coercion and debt bondage to control them. EFE
