A penalty kick by Viktor Gyökeres in the 44th minute put Arsenal ahead 1-0 at halftime. In the 56th minute, Ben White was penalized for handball, and Julián Álvarez scored on the resulting penalty kick, making it 1-1.
In the 76th minute, Dávid Hancko stepped on Eberechi Eze inside the box, prompting the referee to award a penalty. However, after being warned by the VAR and reviewing the play, the referee changed his decision. EFE
