
The Grammy Awards Pre Gala!

The Grammy Awards returned on Sunday with a star-studded gala that honored the musical achievements of Bad Bunny, Lady Gaga, and Kendrick Lamar, who arrived at this edition with the possibility of breaking historical records and solidifying their dominance in the industry.


The ceremony took place at the Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles and aired on CBS and Paramount+ in the United States starting at 5:00 pm local time.

Trevor Noah hosted the event for the last time, concluding his tenure as the master of ceremonies for the most significant event in music.

The ceremony featured performances by Lady Gaga, Justin Bieber, Bruno Mars, and Sabrina Carpenter.
2026’s awards are dominated by three favorites. Californian rapper Kendrick Lamar lead with nine nominations, including the major categories, for his album “GNX.”

Lady Gaga follows with seven nominations, marking her triumphant return to the “dark era” with her project Mayhem.
Meanwhile, Puerto Rican Bad Bunny has received six nominations and made history as the first artist to be nominated in the three main categories (Album, Song, and Record of the Year) for a Spanish-language project, “DeBÍ TiRAR MáS FOToS.”

Other Hispanic nominees included Karol G, who was confirmed as a presenter for the gala alongside Harry Styles and Charli XCX.
In addition, Spaniard Alejandro Sanz was nominated for Best Latin Pop Album, and Mexicans Natalia Lafourcade, Carín León, and Grupo Frontera were nominated in the regional categories. EFE
