Latin Grammy Nominations!

Karol G, Rosalía, Jorge Drexler and Argentine duo Ca7riel & Paco Amoroso received seven nominations each for the 2026 Latin Grammy Awards, while Mexican songwriter and producer Edgar Barrera led with 10 nods, the Latin Recording Academy announced on Wednesday.
Karol G and Rosalía will compete in three of the ceremony’s top categories – Album of the Year, Record of the Year, and Song of the Year-with their albums Tropicoqueta and Lux, and the songs “Coleccionando heridas” and “La perla.”
Rosalía also earned nominations for Best Pop Song (“La perla”), Best Alternative Music Album, Best Portuguese-Language Song (“Memória,” with Carminho) and Best Short-Form Music Video (“Sauvignon Blanc”).
Karol G added nominations for Best Urban Performance (“Dile luna,” with Eddy Lover), Best Reggaeton Performance (“Verano rosa”), Best Urban Music Album and Best Regional Mexican Song (“Ese hombre es malo”).
Drexler and Ca7riel & Paco Amoroso also finished with seven nominations, making them the most recognized artists alongside the Colombian and Spanish stars.

Ca7riel & Paco Amoroso received nominations including Best Song, Best Pop/Rock Song (“Hasta Jesús tuvo un mal día,” with Sting), Best Electronic Music Performance (“Beto’s Horns – Fred Remix”), Best Alternative Music Album and Best Long-Form Music Video for FREE SPIRITS (The Film).
Six nominations for Estrada and Mon Laferte
Mexican singer-songwriter Silvana Estrada and Chilean artist Mon Laferte followed closely with six nominations each.
Estrada is nominated for Record of the Year with “Dime” and Album of the Year for Vendrán Suaves Lluvias, while Mon Laferte competes in the same categories with “FEMME FATALE.”
Nineteen-year-old Argentine artist Milo J earned five nominations, including Album, Song and Record of the Year.

Spanish filmmaker Carla Simón also received a nomination for Best Long-Form Music Video for Flamenco, alongside Mónica Blas, Claudia Mayer, Óscar Romagosa and Albert Soler.
Best New Artist
The Best New Artist nominees include Mexico’s Delilah, Sofía Monroy, Arath Herce and Macario Martínez; Colombia’s ARIA VEGA; Peru’s FABIAN; Brazilians Loulu Gilberto, Dora Sanches and Zeca Veloso; Venezuela’s maye; and Costa Rica’s Kendall Peña.
Under Latin Grammy rules, eligible songs must contain at least 60 percent of their lyrics in Spanish, Portuguese or an Indigenous language.
The winners will be announced at the 27th Latin Grammy Awards on Nov. 12 in Las Vegas. EFE
