Berlin, Nov 5 (EFE).-
Bayern Munich has renewed the contract of English forward Harry Kane, winner of the 2026 Ballon d’Or, until June 30, 2029, the Bundesliga club announced in a statement on Thursday.

“I feel right at home at FC Bayern. I love the club, the fans and the city of Munich. We have a fantastic team and, in Vincent Kompany, a fantastic manager. It makes me very proud to be part of this club. My whole family is very happy here. I was keen to stay. I’m now looking forward to the future and I want to win many more titles with this great club,” the 33-year-old player declared.
Bayern’s director of sport, Max Eberl, said that “players like Harry Kane offer a team unique opportunities.”

“We’re delighted that he will continue to be a key figure who helps shape the direction of the club, and with whom we can continue to build our squad for the future,” he added.
He also pointed out that “this key contract extension” gives the club certainty in its planning and “sends a message that the biggest goals are within reach at FC Bayern.”

The chairman of the supervisory board, Jan-Christian Dreesen, said since Kane’s arrival at the club in 2023, “he has achieved extraordinary things with his goals, his influence on the game and as a role model both on and off the pitch.”
“His contract extension is a commitment to FC Bayern and to a story that is far from over,” he added.

Kane arrived at the Bavarian team from Tottenham Hotspur in the 2023-2024 season. He has won two Bundesliga titles, two German Super Cups and one German Cup with the club.
He has played 161 official matches and scored 156 goals for Bayern. EFE
