Shakira will perform 4 consecutive weekends in Madrid!
Madrid, May 8 (EFE).-
Shakira has added a new Madrid concert on Oct. 9, bringing her total number of performances in the Spanish capital to 12 as part of her 2026 Las Mujeres Ya No Lloran tour residency.
The Colombian artist is now scheduled to perform across four consecutive weekends in Madrid, with concerts set for Sep. 18, 19, 20, 25, 26 and 27, and Oct. 2, 3, 4, 9, 10, and 11.
The announcement follows Shakira’s recent concert at Copacabana Beach, where organizers said she drew more than 2.5 million spectators, setting a record attendance for a Latin artist.
Tickets for the newly announced Madrid date will go on sale on May 13 at 10:00 a.m. through Live Nation, Ticketmaster and El Corte Inglés. Presales begin May 11 for SMUSIC users and May 12 for registered Live Nation users.
The Madrid residency is planned as an immersive entertainment experience under the concept of “Shakira Stadium,” to be installed at Iberdrola Music in the Villaverde district.
Promoters said the project will also include “Macondo Park,” a parallel cultural space inspired by the fictional town created by Gabriel García Márquez. The area is expected to host exhibitions, talks and other activities alongside the concerts.
According to organizers, the venue will occupy around 40 hectares, with capacity for roughly 50,000 spectators and large-scale immersive screens designed to create a more intimate stadium experience.
The broader site is expected to feature daily activities extending beyond the concerts themselves, combining entertainment areas with landscaped spaces inspired by both Caribbean and native Spanish vegetation. EFE met jhv-sk
