Real Madrid secured an important 1-0 victory in Lisbon against Benfica, putting them on track to advance to the Champions League round of 16. However, the game was overshadowed by an alleged racist comment from Benfica’s side.

Real Madrid was superior with Vinícius Júnior scoring a masterful goal in minute 50, and a defense that left Benfica with few opportunities.EFE
