Paris, May 22 (EFE).-
Six people were injured, one critically, and 65 people arrested and taken into police custody following clashes on Thursday night in Paris involving fans of the OGC Nice football club, the Paris Police Prefecture said on Friday.

Around 100 fans of OGC Nice, who will play Friday at 9 pm in the French Cup final against RC Lens at the Stade de France, gathered around 11:30 pm on Thursday in the 10th arrondissement of the French capital looking for confrontations, according to local media reports.
A violent brawl broke out near the Canal Saint-Martin and Quai de Valmy for reasons that are still unknown, the Prefecture told Le Figaro newspaper.

Videos posted on social media show dozens of individuals dressed in black attacking a bar and throwing chairs and other objects at the establishment’s facade, causing property damage and breaking windows.
Other images show clashes between rival groups throwing chairs, while a person remains lying unconscious on the ground.
The police said that they recovered bladed weapons and reinforced gloves from the detainees. EFE cat-fc/pd
