Real Madrid beat Sevilla 4-2 at the Santiago Bernabeu

Real Madrid beat Sevilla 4-2 at the Santiago Bernabeu on Sunday, picking up three points that allowed it to move into second place in the LaLiga table with 40 points, just one behind leader Atletico de Madrid.

Goals from Kylian Mbappé, Fede Valverde, Rodrygo, and Brahim Diaz saw the Merengues thrash Sevilla.

Mbappé opened the scoring after ten minutes with his tenth goal of the season.

He was soon joined by Fede Valverde, who scored the second in the 20th minute.

Rodrygo started the second half with a third goal for Real Madrid, followed by Isaac Romero’s first goal for Sevilla.

Finally, Brahim Diaz scored the final goal for the meringue team in the 53rd minute.

Dodi Lukebakio saved Sevilla’s face by scoring a second goal 5 minutes from the end. EFE
