ICE Agents Killed a Man in Minnesota!
Washington, Jan 24 (EFE). –
Immigration agents shot and killed a man in Minneapolis, United States, on Saturday, according to police statements to local media.

The man who died has been identified as Alex Jeffrey Pretti, a 37-year-old nurse who worked in the intensive care unit of a veterans hospital, according to family members and acquaintances who spoke to local media.

Pretti’s family confirmed to the media that he had participated in protests in Minneapolis after immigration agents killed another woman in the city less than three weeks ago as part of the mass raids against migrants ordered by the administration of US President Donald Trump.

Sunday marked the second incident of this type in the city, amid a large-scale raid ordered by the administration of President Donald Trump.
Minneapolis Police Chief Brian O’Hara confirmed the man’s death in statements reported by The Minnesota Star Tribune.
The incident comes just over two weeks after Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agents shot and killed a woman in her car during their raids on migrants, which have been massively protested by Minneapolis residents.

“I just spoke with the White House after another horrific shooting by federal agents this morning. Minnesota has had it. This is sickening,” wrote Minnesota Governor Tim Walz on X.

“The President must end this operation. Pull the thousands of violent, untrained officers out of Minnesota. Now!” he added.
Additionally, the governor mobilized the state’s national guard.

The images show half a dozen or more masked agents surrounding a man who is struggling with them and appears to be resisting on the ground.
At one point, one of the officers appears to strike him with the butt of a gun just before another opens fire on the individual, who is now completely motionless on the ground as immigration personnel move away.

Local media have quoted officials from the Department of Homeland Security, which oversees immigration agencies, as saying that the victim was armed.
The agency has not revealed the man’s identity or provided details about the events that led to the shooting. EFE
