Erika Kirk forgives her husband’s killer!
Glendale, United States, Sep 21 (EFE).-
At a packed memorial service Sunday for conservative activist Charlie Kirk, his widow Erika Kirk delivered a stirring message of forgiveness toward Tyler Robinson, the 22-year-old charged with fatally shooting him on Sept. 10. She said she forgives him, citing Christian ideals and her husband’s own mission, even as prosecutors pursue the death penalty.

Erika Kirk addressed tens of thousands of people at State Farm Stadium, where political leaders joined in tribute.
“My husband, he wanted to save young men, just like the one who took his life,” she said. “I forgive him. I forgive him because it was what Christ did, and it is what Charlie would do.”

The crowd responded with a standing ovation.
In her speech, she spoke of her commitment to carry on Charlie Kirk’s work, now as the head of Turning Point USA, the organization he co-founded. She also said doctors had assured her that Charlie Kirk did not suffer after the shot – that his death was instantaneous.
Tyler Robinson has been formally charged with multiple counts, including aggravated murder. Utah County Attorney Jeff Gray has said he intends to seek the death penalty.

Officials claim Robinson was radicalized online over the past year. Utah Gov. Spencer Cox said the suspect developed left-leaning views that diverged sharply from those of his conservative family.
Investigators have found messages and digital evidence suggesting premeditation, including text messages in which Robinson reportedly said he had had “enough of his hatred.”

At the same service, prominent conservative leaders spoke, including President Donald Trump and Vice President James D. Vance. Trump called Charlie Kirk “a great American hero.” Erika Kirk thanked the crowd for their support, saying her husband left Earth “without regrets,” and vowed that Turning Point USA would continue to grow in his memory.
