Clinton Defense Team Jumps In!
Washington, Dec 19 (EFE).-
A spokesman for former United States President Bill Clinton (1993–2001) defended him Friday after a photograph depicting him in a hot tub was among newly released files from the U.S. Department of Justice.

Clinton spokesman Ángel Ureña said there are “two types of people: those who knew nothing and cut ties with Epstein when his crimes came to light, and those who ‘continued their relationship afterward,’” and he insisted that Clinton falls into the first category.
In a statement posted on X, Ureña criticized the strategy of the administration of President Donald Trump for releasing the files, saying the White House is using the former president’s image to “hide a truth they don’t want to come out.”

“Everyone, especially those who support MAGA, expects answers and not scapegoats,” the spokesman added.
The reaction came after the DOJ released thousands of files to meet a legal deadline for disclosing the records, which included a photo of Clinton in a jacuzzi with another person whose face was blurred.

The Justice Department released a total of 3,965 files, approximately three gigabytes of data, in four new datasets.
Most of the records are PDFs, along with one video file and several individual images, some embedded in multi-page documents.

Deputy Attorney General Todd Blanche warned Friday that it will not be possible to release all of the documents required by law at once because of their volume and said the Justice Department plans to release “several hundred thousand more” files in the coming weeks. EFE
