The German team took an early lead in the 9th minute through Harry Kane’s header. The early goal heralded a Bayern side that would dominate the first half.

Leverkusen tried to level the scores at the start of the second half by increasing their intensity and pressing. However, Kovar failed to keep out Kimmich’s cross, and the ball fell to Jamal Musiala, who did not hesitate to slot home his second in the 54th minute.

Meanwhile, at the Estádio da Luz, Raphinha (Raphael Dias) scored a second-half winner in the minute 61 to give Barcelona a 1-0 win against Benfica. The Catalans overcame Pau Cubarsi’s early red card to take the lead in the first leg of their Champions League last-16 tie.

Goals from Marcus Thuram (minute 38) and Lautaro Martínez (minute 50) earned Inter a 2-0 victory against Feyenoord at the De Kuip stadium.

It was Martínez’s 18th Champions League goal for Inter, making him the club’s all-time leading scorer.

A late goal from Liverpool substitute Harvey Elliott earned Liverpool an unlikely win at PSG, scoring at the minute 87 at Parc des Princes stadium. EFE
