Meanwhile, Raphael Onyedika (51′), Nicolo Tresoldi (60′), and Christos Tzolis (89′) scored the goals for Ivan Leko’s side.

Patrik Schick, Bayer Leverkusen’s hero

The second half brought forcefulness, and Schick was the hero of the night with two consecutive actions against Olympiakos on Wednesday.

After a counterattack left him in a great position to score in the 60th minute, he appeared again three minutes later to head in a corner kick and notch his brace (63′).

Bayer Leverkusen secured an important away victory against Olympiacos in the first leg of the UEFA Champions League playoff. Schick was the standout player of the match, scoring twice in the second half.

Meanwhile, Bodo/Glimt struck a blow by defeating Inter in Norway 3-1 in the first leg of the 2025-2026 UEFA Champions League round of 16 playoffs.

As time went on, the Norwegian team improved and found their reward in the 20th minute thanks to Sondre Brunstad Fet.

However, the local team’s lead was short-lived. After a cross, Carlos Augusto chested it down, and Francesco Pio Espósito shot for the temporary 1-1 equalizer in the 30th minute.

In the second half, in the 61st minute, the match took a decisive turn for Inter, and Jens Petter Hauge unleashed a formidable left-footed shot that went into the top corner.

Kasper Høgh scored in the 64th minute with a left-footed shot from close to the right post, sealing the 3-1 victory. EFE
