Bogotá, Feb 3 (EFE).-

Barcelona scraped into the Copa del Rey semifinals with a narrow 2-1 victory over Albacete, who had knocked out Real Madrid in the previous round.

Goals from Lamine Yamal and Ronald Araújo gave Barcelona the win, but Javier Moreno Arrones made Albacete excited for a tie possibility in the 87th minute.

Barcelona took the lead six minutes before halftime (39′) when Lamine Yamal finished superbly after receiving a pass from Frenkie de Jong.

Ronald Araújo doubled the lead 11 minutes into the second half (56′) with a glancing header from Marcus Rashford’s corner.

Albacete refused to give up, and Javier Moreno Arrones scored with three minutes left to make it a tense finish (87′).

The goals from Yamal and Araújo were enough to keep Barcelona on track. EFE
