Asunción, Nov 29 (EFE).—
Shakira drew tens of thousands to ‘La Nueva Olla’ for a second night on Saturday, powering through a hit-packed set that marked her long-awaited return to Paraguay after 14 years.

The Colombian singer lit up Paraguay’s capital as part of her Las Mujeres Ya No Lloran World Tour.

She connected with the crowd from the outset, dancing with her cast in front of a screen that displayed flags from across the region, highlighting the nationalities of “Latin” women until arriving at Paraguay.
The stadium erupted in cheers and applause.
Wearing multiple outfits and performing fresh choreographies, the Colombian star kept the audience on their feet with a setlist that included “La Fuerte,” “Girl Like Me,” “Las de la Intuición,” “Estoy Aquí,” “La Loba,” “La Copa Vacía,” as well as “Te Felicito” and “TQG,” which the crowd sang in unison.

One of the night’s most emotional moments came when a giant screen played a video of Shakira as a baby and later as a young girl singing, leading into her performance of “Pies descalzos, sueños blancos.”
Paraguayan artist Nath Aponte opened the evening as the opening act, performing songs in the guarania genre, an emblematic expression of Paraguay’s musical identity.

Shakira included Paraguay for two performances—Friday and Saturday—in the second leg of her world tour across Latin America, which will conclude with shows in the Argentine city of Córdoba in mid-December.
The Colombian returned to Paraguay 14 years after bringing her Sale el Sol Tour to the country in 2011. EFE
