Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban have separated after 19 years of marriage, according to reports in US magazines People and TMZ.
The family has been living separately “since early summer,” and Kidman is currently raising their daughters, an unnamed source confirmed to TMZ
For its part, People magazine stated that the “Eyes Wide Shut” actress did not want her relationship with the country music singer to end and that she had “been fighting to save the marriage.”
Kidman and Urban married in June 2006, a year after meeting, after being introduced by Australian actor Geoffrey Rush at the G’Day LA gala.
The couple have two daughters together: Sunday Rose, 17, and Faith Margaret, 14.
On June 25, Kidman shared a photo of herself hugging Urban on Instagram to commemorate their wedding anniversary.
Before Urban, the 2003 Oscar winner for “The Hours” was married to Tom Cruise for 11 years. They divorced in 2001, a year that marked the end of one of Hollywood’s most famous relationships at the time.
