Nicole Kidman and Elle Fanning will star in Chandler Baker’s ‘Discretion’ thriller.

American star Nicole Kidman and Elle Fanning will star in the thriller “Discretion,” a yet-to-be-published story by author Chandler Baker that will be adapted into a series, Variety reported Wednesday.
The writer of hits like “The Husbands” and “Whisper at Work” sets the story in Dallas, a city in the southern US, and is inspired by Baker’s experience as a corporate lawyer, the specialized magazine explained.
The production company A24 acquired the rights to bring this story to the small screen, of which further details about who will direct the project, as well as the release date, are still unknown.
Executive producers include Fanning and her partners at Lewellen Pictures: her sister Dakota Fanning and Brittany Kahan Ward; also Kidman, under the Blossom Films label, which she runs with Per Saari.
Baker is currently adapting his novel “The Husbands” for Amazon MGM and Plan B, with Kristen Wiig starring and producing.
