
World Cup 2026 Groups!

The stage for the largest-ever soccer tournament was officially set on Friday as United States President Donald Trump, along with the leaders of co-host nations Canada and Mexico, watched the reveal of the 2026 men’s World Cup field.



Group B
40 after first appearing in the World Cup, Canada will lead Group B in the 2026 edition.
The group includes Qatar, host of the 2022 World Cup; Switzerland; and the winner of European playoff A, determined between Mar. 26 and 31 by the national teams of Wales, Bosnia, Italy, and Ireland.

Group H
Spain will make their World Cup debut on Jun. 15 against Cape Verde, a team it has never faced before. As of Jun. 21, they will play Saudi Arabia. They will finish the first phase of Group H on Jun. 26 with their most challenging match against Uruguay.
While awaiting the venues and schedules of their matches, which will be announced on Saturday and will take place in Miami, Houston, Guadalajara, and Atlanta, the Spanish national team, led by Luis de la Fuente, already knows their opponents and the dates of their matches.


Spain, the 2010 World Cup champion, will begin its participation in the 2026 event in the US, Mexico, and Canada on Jun. 15, facing Cape Verde.

It will be the 13th time the Spanish national team has participated in a World Cup. Their second match will be on Sunday, Jun. 21, against Saudi Arabia.
Spain has defeated Saudi Arabia in all three previous matchups. They will finish the group stage against Uruguay on Friday, Jun. 26.


Group K
The competition will feature an expanded 48-team format, growing from the previous 32-team structure, and is slated to kick off on Jun. 11, 2026, with the opening match between Mexico and South Africa.
The draw for the 2026 World Cup groups, held at the Kennedy Center in Washington, defined the composition of the 12 groups.

Participants include top seeds such as Mexico (Group A), Canada (Group B), Brazil (Group C), the US (Group D), Germany (Group E), the Netherlands (Group F), Belgium (Group G), Spain (Group H), France (Group I), Argentina (Group J), Portugal (Group K), and England (Group L). EFE
