Shakira is going to perform in India!
New Delhi, Feb 20 (EFE).-
Nearly two decades after her last visit, Colombian superstar Shakira is set to return to India this April for two large-scale concerts in Mumbai and New Delhi, organizers confirmed Friday.

The shows are part of the “Feeding India Concert 2026,” an initiative organized by District, the events platform of Indian company Zomato.
The campaign aims to raise funds and awareness to combat child malnutrition in the country.
The first concert is scheduled for April 10 at the Mahalakshmi Race Course in Mumbai, India’s financial capital.

The second will take place on April 15 at the Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium in New Delhi, a venue with a capacity of more than 60,000 spectators.

This marks the first time the Barranquilla-born artist will perform in two Indian cities during the same tour.
Her only previous appearance in the country was in 2007, when she performed in Mumbai as part of her “Oral Fixation” tour.

Organizers announced that ticket pre-sales will begin on Feb. 27 at 12:00 p.m. local time (06:30 GMT), exclusively for HSBC customers. General ticket sales will open on March 1 at 1:00 p.m. local time (07:30 GMT).
Ticket prices are expected to range from 4,000 rupees (around $46) for general admission to 24,500 rupees (approximately $282) for premium sections and VIP areas close to the stage.

The announcement quickly sparked excitement on social media, where thousands of fans celebrated her long-awaited return, turning the news into a nationwide trending topic. EFE lgm-sk
