Polish Striker Robert Lewandowski suffers injury!
Barcelona, Oct 14 (EFE).-
Polish striker Robert Lewandowski has suffered a hamstring injury, becoming the latest in a series of injured players in the soccer club FC Barcelona, managed by the German Hansi Flick.

“Robert Lewandowski has suffered a muscle tear in the biceps femoris of his left thigh. His recovery time will depend on how the injury evolves,” the club said in a statement on social media platform X on Tuesday.

His availability for the “El Clasico” against Real Madrid on Oct. 26 is believed to be unlikely.
Lewandowski joins several other FC Barcelona players in the current list of injuries, which includes the goalkeepers Joan Garcia and Marc Andre ter Stegen, as well as midfielders Pablo Paez Gavira ‘Gavi’ and Dani Olmo.

On the other hand, Flick will have the services of Lamine Yamal and Fermin Lopez as they return from injury, while Raphinha’s soon expected return will provide a further boost to the side. EFE
