Marcus wants to stay at Barcelona!

Marcus Rashford, on loan from Manchester United at Barcelona, said he is willing to stay at the Blaugrana club beyond next summer.
The British forward has scored five goals and provided six assists at the start of the season with Barcelona, showing his best form in the last three years.
“Oh yeah, for sure,” Rashford said on being asked if he wanted to stay at Barcelona, during an interview with ESPN published Friday.
“I’m enjoying this football club and I think for anybody who loves football, Barcelona is one of the key clubs in the history of the game. For a player it is an honour,” he said.
“People forget this, but (…) 23 years of my life was with Manchester United. So sometimes you just need a change. I think maybe this is the case with me and yeah, I’m enjoying everything,” Rashford added.
The versatile striker fell out of favor at Old Trafford and ended up warming the benches under managers Erik Ten Hag and Ruben Amorim, and decided to go on loan to Aston Villa in the second half of last season.
Under Unai Emery, his career revived, but the Birmingham club could not secure his services permanently and he went on loan again to Barcelona.
Rashford is contracted with Manchester United until 2028, and if the Catalan club wants to keep him for beyond the loan term, it will have to go back to the negotiating table. EFE
