Manchester City suffers 3-1 upset against Bodø/Glimt!
Bogotá, Jan 20.-
Manchester City suffered a shocking 3-1 upset against Bodø/Glimt, a small Norwegian club, in what is being described as one of the most humiliating Champions League defeats in history.

The nightmare for the big-spending City began with Kasper Høgh scoring two quick goals in the 22nd and 24th minutes against the tournament debutants. Jens Hauge then made the score a stunning 3-0 in the 58th minute.
Rayan Cherki of City managed to pull one back in the 60th minute; however, hopes of a comeback were dashed two minutes later when Rodrigo Hernández Cascante received a second yellow card and was sent off in the 62nd minute.

This loss adds to City’s recent troubles following their derby defeat to Manchester United over the weekend and sets up a crucial final group stage match against Galatasaray next week.

Tottenham defeated Borussia Dortmund
Tottenham responded on the pitch with a 2-0 home victory, a key result that could lead to a direct pass to the next round of the Champions League.

The German side came into the match with a better pre-match reputation, despite the media attention surrounding their coach, Niko Kovač, and his alleged interest from the Premier League.
Cristian “Cuti” Romero scored in the 14th minute, and Dominic Solanke scored in the 37th minute, sealing the match before halftime. Borussia Dortmund’s situation worsened when Daniel Svensson was sent off, forcing the German team to play most of the game with 10 men.

With this result, Tottenham advances with 14 points, while Dortmund remains in the middle of the table with 11.
Meanwhile, Villarreal said goodbye to the Champions League at the Estadio de la Cerámica on Tuesday with a 1-2 loss.

Tani Oluwaseyi of Nigeria put Villarreal ahead in the 49th minute, only to see the Dutch side come back with goals from Oscar Gloukh of Israel in the 61st minute and Oliver Edvardsen of Norway in the 90th minute. EFE
