Forward Lamine Yamal and attacking midfielder Fermín López have been given the all-clear from their injuries and have been named in Barcelona’s squad for Saturday’s match against Girona at the Lluís Companys Olympic Stadium.

Barça coach Hansi Flick announced in a press conference on Friday that both the Catalan winger, who suffered a recurrence of groin pain following last week’s match against PSG, and the Andalusian midfielder, who has been out with a muscle injury since September 22, would be available for the match against Girona.

Despite the return of Lamine Yamal and Fermín, the German coach will be without the injured Robert Lewandowski, Ferran Torres, Dani Olmo, Raphael Dias ‘Raphinha’, Joan García, Pablo Páez Gavira ‘Gavi’ and Marc-André ter Stegen.

Given these absences, Flick has called up right-back Xavi Espart and forward Juan Hernández, both from Barça Atlètic, who are making their first-team debuts.

This is Barcelona’s squad to face Girona on Matchday 9 of LaLiga EA Sports: Szczesny, Kochen and Eder Aller (goalkeepers); Balde, Araujo, Cubarsí, Christensen, Gerard Martín, Kounde, Eric García, Jofre Torrents and Xavi Espart (defenders); Pedri, Fermín, Casadó, De Jong, Bernal and Dro (midfielders); Lamine Yamal, Rashford, Bardghji, Toni Fernández and Juan Hernández (forwards).
