Chicago, US, Feb 20 (EFE).-
Floyd Mayweather, boxing legend and world champion in five divisions, announced on Friday his return to professional fights, after retiring in 2017 with a perfect 50-0 record.

‘Money’ Mayweather, who will turn 49 on Feb. 24, said in a statement that he will return to professional fighting following his exhibition match against Mike Tyson, scheduled for spring this year.
“I still have what it takes to set more records in the sport of boxing – from my upcoming Mike Tyson event to my next professional fight afterwards – no one will generate a bigger gate, have a larger global broadcast audience and generate more money with each event – than my events,” said Mayweather.

The US boxer will return to fighting alongside his global media partner CSI Sports/FIGHT SPORTS.
Since his retirement in 2017, Mayweather has taken part in several exhibition fights, including one against John Gotti III in Mexico City. EFE
