Chelsea stunned Paris Saint-Germain with a dominant 3-0 victory on Sunday to win the first-ever expanded FIFA Club World Cup in East Rutherford, New Jersey. Cole Palmer was the star, scoring twice and assisting the third as the Blues wrapped up the title before halftime.

“This was a complete performance,” Chelsea coach Enzo Maresca said. “We believed in ourselves from the first minute.”
Palmer opened the scoring in the 22nd minute, then doubled the lead just eight minutes later with a similar move.
PSG looked lost, and Chelsea took full advantage. Before the break, Palmer set up Joao Pedro for the third goal, sealing a stunning first half.

PSG, favorites after beating Real Madrid 4-0 in the semifinals, never recovered.
“We weren’t ourselves today,” admitted PSG coach Luis Enrique. “Chelsea punished every mistake.”
The final ended on a sour note for PSG as Joao Neves was sent off in the 85th minute.

United States President Donald Trump attended the match, which marked a historic moment for FIFA’s new 32-team tournament.
Chelsea, already winners of the UEFA Conference League this year, now add a global crown to their trophy cabinet.
“It’s just the beginning,” Palmer sa id. “We’ve shown what this team can do.” EFEi nt-seo
