Valencia, Spain, Aug 23 (EFE).-

Barcelona came from two goals down to beat Levante 3-2 in Valencia on Saturday. The Liga and Segunda Division champions had met with few, but significant, changes to their second starting lineup of the season. Levante had just one: the replacement of José Luis Morales. Barcelona had two: Marc Casadó and Marcus Rashford.

Casadó occupied the central midfield position to replace Frenkie de Jong, who had just become a father, and the former Manchester United player made his debut after playing 21 minutes at Son Moix.

A feisty Levante side took the lead in the first half with a strike from Iván Romero in the 15th minute and a penalty from José Luis Morales at the end of the first half.

After the break, Pedri González and Ferran Torres leveled the score with their two goals in three minutes.

It wasn’t until the 91st minute when Unai Elgezabal scored an own goal after trying to deny a dangerous cross from Lamine Yamal that the winner was decided.

It was the second time in two weeks that Levante have conceded a winner in the 91st minute.

Next weekend Barcelona will meet Rayo Vallecano. EFE plm-sm/tw
