The Argentine national football team, reigning world champions and two-time Copa América champions, will begin their training camp this Monday in the Alicante town of Algorfa to prepare for their friendly match against Angola next Friday.
The Argentine internationals began arriving at the La Finca Resort complex on Sunday night, according to sources from the Argentine Football Association, and the rest of the squad called up by Lionel Scaloni is expected to arrive on Monday morning.

La Finca is a hotel and sports complex that regularly hosts national teams and professional clubs, such as Georgia and Elche.
The team, led by captain Leo Messi, is scheduled to hold its first training session this afternoon behind closed doors. A press conference with Scaloni is planned for Thursday, November 13.

The team will travel to Angola that same Thursday, the day before the match. After the match, the national team will return to Algorfa, although without Messi and some other players who will be released from training, and will remain there until November 18, the date on which the training camp ends.
Argentina had scheduled a second friendly, this time against India, but the match was ultimately canceled.

The Albiceleste, who chose Alicante as their base during the 1982 World Cup, had not returned to the province since October 2019, when they thrashed Ecuador (6-1) in a friendly played at the Martínez Valero stadium in Elche.
