Dutch police detains 180 Napoli fans!
Rome, Oct 21 (EFE).-
Dutch police detained around 180 Napoli supporters in Eindhoven, the Netherlands, on Tuesday morning as a preventive measure ahead of the Champions League match against PSV, scheduled for later in the day.

Italian Foreign Minister Antonio Tajani said he was closely monitoring the situation and that staff from the Italian embassy in The Hague have been sent to assist the detained fans.
“The Embassy in The Hague has already dispatched personnel, and officers from Italy’s General Investigations and Special Operations Division (DIGOS) are also present,” Tajani wrote on X.

“Dutch police will remove fans without tickets,” he added.
According to Italian media, the group of Napoli supporters was found early Tuesday near Eindhoven’s city center, where police ordered them to leave the area. When they refused to comply, officers detained them for violating municipal regulations on public gatherings.

Local authorities reported that no disturbances or clashes occurred, emphasizing that the operation was aimed precisely at preventing such incidents.
Eindhoven’s mayor, Jeroen Dijsselbloem, had earlier designated the city center and other key areas as high-risk zones ahead of the match, authorizing preventive searches.
Around 1,600 Napoli fans are expected to attend Tuesday night’s game in Eindhoven. EFE
