President Trump signs “big, beautiful bill” into law!
Washington, July 4 (EFE).-
President Donald Trump signed his ambitious tax and budget cut law on Friday during the traditional July 4 picnic, which he turned into a celebration of his win in Congress.

During the Independence Day celebration in the White House garden, Trump signed the law that Congress approved on Thursday.
“We made promises, and it’s really promises made, promises kept, and we’ve kept them. There’s a triumph of democracy on the birthday of democracy, and I have to say that the people are happy,” Trump said on the balcony of the South Lawn alongside first lady Melania Trump.

Trump also listed what he considers to be his triumphs during his first six months in office.
He mentioned foreign investment in the US, the agreement for NATO to increase defense spending, and improvements in the labor and stock markets. However, in this case, this is only true concerning the Nasdaq and S&P 500 indexes of Wall Street.
In any case, Trump stressed that signing the “big, beautiful bill” is a “phenomenal victory.”
The bill codifies the tax deductions Trump approved in 2017 and implies cutting around 1 trillion dollars in funding for programs such as Medicaid and SNAP. Trump and many Republicans claim this will eliminate redundancies and fraud that undermine these programs.

Various organizations estimate that the law will leave approximately 12 million US residents without access to federal aid.
The law increases investment in border security and anti-immigration measures by about 170 billion dollars and in defense by about 150 billion dollars.
In addition to thanking the Republicans who approved the bill after Wednesday’s marathon voting session, Trump criticized the Democratic Party in his speech. This year, Democratic legislators voted against the bill in both houses of Congress.

The president claimed that the Democrats did not support the bill because their “hatred of the country, of me, or both is too great.”
During the event, a B-2 bomber, which was used in the recent bombing of Iranian nuclear facilities and was escorted by two F-35 fighters, flew over Washington.
About 150 aviators from the Whiteman Air Force Base in Missouri, the operational base for the B-2 fleet, attended Friday’s event.

Trump thanked them for their work and insisted that the “Midnight Hammer Operation” was a success, meaning the destruction of the three attacked facilities. However, neither US intelligence representatives nor the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) have confirmed this. EFE asb/mcd
