Mbappé’s trouble in Sweden!
Paris, Oct 17 (EFE).-
Kylian Mbappé, the Real Madrid star at the center of a rape allegation in Sweden last week, has text messages that prove the encounter was consensual, ‘Le Parisien’ reported Thursday.
The French daily said Mbappé has messages that the woman sent him hours after leaving the hotel where he was staying which show “a happy and consensual relationship.”

One of his lawyers, Marie-Alix Canu-Bernard, said Wednesday that she welcomed the fact that Swedish police have opened an investigation, which she said would clarify what occurred in a central Stockholm hotel on Oct. 10.
The player himself took to X (formerly Twitter) on Monday to dismiss the allegations as “fake news.”
The Swedish prosecutor’s office has only acknowledged that an investigation has been launched into an alleged rape in Stockholm last week, without mentioning the captain of the French national team.

‘Le Parisien’ reported that Mbappé and a group of friends, including French footballer Nordi Mukiele, traveled to Stockholm between October 9 and 11.
They stayed at the luxury Bank Hotel in the center of the city. On the second night of their stay, they visited the VIP ‘V Club’.
There, the Real Madrid star and his friends reportedly met several young women who accompanied them back to their hotel, where Mbappé, 25, and one of the women reportedly had a consensual sexual encounter, ‘Le Parisien’ added.

The newspaper pointed out that, given the silence from Swedish authorities and the complainant’s lawyer, it is also not certain that the young woman with whom the player alleges he had a consensual relationship is the one who has made the accusation. EFE
