Kamala Harris Bid for the Presidency!
Washington, Oct 16 (EFE).-
The Democratic candidate for the White House, US Vice President Kamala Harris, said on Wednesday that if she wins the election on Nov. 5, her administration would “not be a continuation” of the current one under US President Joe Biden.

“Let me be very clear: my presidency will not be a continuation of Joe Biden’s presidency,” Harris stated during a tense interview with the conservative network Fox News.
In this respect, Harris used the interview, seen by a conservative audience, to distance herself from Biden, who is very unpopular with Republican voters.
The vice president also took the opportunity to define her Republican rival, former President Donald Trump (2017-2021), as someone who is not fit to hold the office, is unstable, and is dangerous.

“People are exhausted with someone who professes to be a leader and who spends full time demeaning and engaging in personal grievances,” Harris said about Trump, something Fox News viewers are not used to hear.
Beyond Biden and Trump, the interview focused on immigration, one of the top issues on Americans’ minds.
Harris made it clear that she is not in favor of decriminalizing irregular crossings at the US-Mexico border.

“I do not believe in decriminalizing border crossings, and I’ve not done that as vice president. I will not do that as president,” she stated.
Harris gave this interview the same day she participated in an event with dozens of Republicans.
“No matter your party, no matter who you voted for the last time, there is a place for you in this campaign,” the vice president said during the event in the key state of Pennsylvania.
In her speech, Harris said Trump “is increasingly unstable and unhinged.” EFE
