State Theatre New Jersey presents Tito Nieves – 50 Años Tour 2025—La Historia with Special Guest Brenda K. Starr on Saturday, February 15 at 8pmDJ Ralphie Mercado kicks off the night with an opening set at 7:15pm. Tickets range from $39-$79.

Known as El Pavarotti de la Salsa, Humberto “Tito” Nieves was born in Puerto Rico and raised in New York. His powerful and crystalline voice has paved his career, reaching worldwide recognition with songs both in English and Spanish. Nieves first performed with the Cimarrón orchestra in the 1970s. In 1977, he teamed up with the legendary Héctor Lavoe and his orchestra. In 1986, Nieves started the solo career that would turn him into a household name, with chart-topping hits like “El Amor Más Bonito,” “Fabricando Fantasías,” “De Mi Enamórate,” “Sonámbulo,” and ‘I Like It Like That.’
