The #SHCCNJ Health & Wellness Fair 2025!

There the esquire was as the master of ceremony of the Statewide Hispanic Chamber of Commerce of New Jersey 2025 Health & Wellness Fair, Marco A. Gonzalez, Jr., calling for the audience attention! Once, twice, thrice! This year the fair took place at the Park hotel at the Meadowlands. The opening remarks were going to commence. Gonzalez asked again this time, with a somber tone, for both quiet and respect! Most people did not listen at first.
And then Chairman Luis O. De La Hoz hopped on stage, and started talking about the dark days of the chamber when the new leadership took over, himself included. Back then, no one believed in an organization without liquidity and heavily burdened with so many bills to pay. However, it was during those difficult times, De La Hoz said, that the insurance company Horizon Blue Cross Blue Shield started sponsoring the Chamber’s Health and Wellness Fair.
Today, the Chamber #SHCCNJ is back in shape both financially and business membership!
The Statewide Hispanic Chamber of Commerce of New Jersey represents about 120,000 small businesses with a sizable economic input in the Garden State. And as Aixa López, the Chamber’s Chief of Staff, said “if you impact Hispanic businesses you impact the state of New Jersey”.
The Chamber’s next signature event is the Countdown to the WorldCup cocktail to take place on Tuesday June 10, from 6 to 10pm at the Game Room of the American Dream, in Rutherford, New Jersey. A small walk across from the MetLife, the FiFA’s World Cup venue. That soccer stadium is not in New York or Pennsylvania, it is located in the great Garden State that is New Jersey!
