Stunning Comeback at the Metropolitano!
Madrid, Mar. 16 (EFE).-
Barcelona pulled off a stunning comeback at the Metropolitano, defeating Atlético Madrid 4-2 with two stoppage-time goals from Lamine Yamal (91’) and Ferrán Torres (97’). The victory came after trailing 2-0 earlier in the match.

Julián Álvarez opened the scoring for Atlético in the 44th minute, followed by a goal from Sorioth in the 70th. However, Barcelona responded immediately, Lewandowski made it 2-1 in the 71st, Fernán Torres equalized in the 77th, and then came the late goals that sealed the win.
Barcelona winger Lamine Yamal, who scored the crucial 2-3 goal, said he always believed his first big goals would come in key matches like this one. “Winning against Atleti today is a statement,” he told DAZN.

Atlético midfielder Marcos Llorente admitted fatigue from their 120-minute Champions League battle against Real Madrid earlier in the week played a role in the collapse. “We controlled the first half well and managed to score twice, but those 120 minutes really weighed on us,” he admitted to DAZN.

Despite the setback, Llorente insisted Atlético will keep fighting for the LaLiga title: “We’ll fight until the end. We’ve seen how things can change”. EFE
