Amad Diallo’s late equalizer earned Manchester United a point and a 2-2 draw against league leaders Liverpool in a drama-filled match at Anfield.

Lisandro Martinez had given United the lead late on, but Cody Gakpo’s equalizer and Mohamed Salah’s penalty briefly looked like giving the Reds the win.

Liverpool remain six points clear of Arsenal with a game in hand. But it was an unconvincing performance to kick off 2025. EFE
