La Comisi\u00f3n Nacional Antimonopolio (CNA) inform\u00f3 este lunes que sigue de manera puntual al f\u00fatbol profesional en M\u00e9xico por posibles pr\u00e1cticas monop\u00f3licas y anticompetitivas reportadas por medios de comunicaci\u00f3n y aficionados.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

ABOGADOS DE ACCIDENTES<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

“Tras analizar los eventos ocurridos en los \u00faltimos meses, la Autoridad Investigadora determin\u00f3 que cuenta con indicios suficientes para abrir formalmente una investigaci\u00f3n de oficio por posibles pr\u00e1cticas monop\u00f3licas en el mercado de f\u00fatbol profesional en M\u00e9xico. Hoy se public\u00f3 el acuerdo de inicio correspondiente”, escribi\u00f3 la CNA a trav\u00e9s de un comunicado.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

La Comisi\u00f3n Nacional Antimonopolio, creada como tal en 2025, es el organismo del Gobierno de M\u00e9xico encargado de vigilar que las empresas compitan de forma justa y encargada de castigar a los monopolios.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Entre los antecedentes que sigue la CNA est\u00e1 la sanci\u00f3n que en 2021 la Comisi\u00f3n Federal de Competencia Econ\u00f3mica (Cofece) emiti\u00f3 contra los equipos de la Liga MX y la Federaci\u00f3n Mexicana de F\u00fatbol (FMF) por pr\u00e1cticas monop\u00f3licas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

En aquella ocasi\u00f3n, la Liga y la FMF recibieron una multa de la Cofece, predecesora de la CNA, por 177.6 millones de pesos (m\u00e1s de 8.8 millones de d\u00f3lares de aquel momento).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

En el comunicado compartido por la CNA se menciona que investigar\u00e1 conductas que tienen que ver con abusos de poder de mercado que afecten la competencia financiera de este deporte en el pa\u00eds, al tiempo que enunci\u00f3 las posibles sanciones a las podr\u00edan hacerse merecedores los organismos implicados.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“El inicio de esta investigaci\u00f3n no prejuzga sobre la existencia de una pr\u00e1ctica monop\u00f3lica. En caso de que, tras el procedimiento de investigaci\u00f3n y, en su caso, el procedimiento subsecuente, se acredite la responsabilidad de alg\u00fan agente econ\u00f3mico, el Pleno de la CNA puede imponer sanciones de hasta el 10 por ciento de sus ingresos anuales y ordenar la correcci\u00f3n o supresi\u00f3n de la pr\u00e1ctica anticompetitiva”, concluy\u00f3 el escrito de la CNA.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Seg\u00fan datos de la Comisi\u00f3n Nacional Antimonopolio, M\u00e9xico es el segundo pa\u00eds del mundo con m\u00e1s aficionados al f\u00fatbol; moviliza aproximadamente 250.000 personas cada fin de semana.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Para muestra, la final de la Copa del Mundo 2026 tuvo solo en este pa\u00eds una audiencia estimada de m\u00e1s de 30.5 millones de personas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
