R\u00edo de Janeiro, de resaca todav\u00eda por las masivas celebraciones de A\u00f1o Nuevo, se prepara ya para el carnaval, con la realizaci\u00f3n este domingo de m\u00e1s de 70 comparsas populares previstas para desfilar por las calles de la ciudad brasile\u00f1a.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Apenas cuatro d\u00edas despu\u00e9s de que los festejos de fin de a\u00f1o terminaran y con el imponente escenario levantado en la playa de Copacabana a\u00fan por desmontar, cientos de cariocas y de turistas se echaron purpurina por el cuerpo y vistieron nuevos disfraces para participar en peque\u00f1os desfiles por toda la urbe.<\/p>\n\n\n

Se trata de una especie de apertura no oficial del evento, ya que el carnaval per se arrancar\u00e1 formalmente el viernes 13 de febrero, cuando el alcalde de R\u00edo entregue de forma simb\u00f3lica las llaves de la ciudad al Rey Momo, figura de la mitolog\u00eda griega que encarna el esp\u00edritu de la fiesta y que cada a\u00f1o es interpretado por una persona distinta.<\/p>\n\n\n

El movimiento Desliga dos Blocos (“Liberaci\u00f3n de las Comparsas”) impulsa el evento, que inici\u00f3 hace 17 a\u00f1os como una cr\u00edtica al aumento de la burocracia para registrar desfiles durante la temporada oficial de carnaval.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

La idea es, seg\u00fan publican los organizadores en su p\u00e1gina oficial, “proponer una reflexi\u00f3n sobre el derecho a la ciudad”, adem\u00e1s de “cuestionar los conceptos que categorizan manifestaciones populares carnavalescas en oficiales y no oficiales”.<\/p>\n\n\n

Pese al entusiasmo que se respiraba en el ambiente por la cercan\u00eda del carnaval, la amenaza de lluvia llev\u00f3 a los organizadores a advertir a los zancudos que tuvieran cuidado con los suelos escurridizos y algunos desfiles se tuvieron que refugiar bajo puentes o soportales.<\/p>\n\n\n

Pero ni eso agu\u00f3 la fiesta de los participantes en la comparsa Love Songs, dedicada a canciones de amor y una de las m\u00e1s madrugadoras, con una convocatoria para las 7.00 de la ma\u00f1ana en el centro de la ciudad.<\/p>\n\n\n
