El Chelsea cumpli\u00f3 con lo justo frente a Los Angeles FC y con un bonito tanto de Pedro Neto y la sentencia de Enzo Fern\u00e1ndez sald\u00f3 con triunfo su estreno en este Mundial de Clubes de la FIFA (2-0).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

M\u00e1s de dos semanas despu\u00e9s de levantar la Conference League en Breslavia contra el Real Betis, los ‘Blues’ volvieron a la acci\u00f3n y se impusieron sin mucho brillo al conjunto de la MLS, liga que no ha sumado ni un solo triunfo en las dos jornadas de torneo. El Inter de Miami empat\u00f3 a cero, el Seattle Sounders perdi\u00f3 y Los Angeles FC cayeron este lunes, mostrando al mundo la distancia que existe entre la competici\u00f3n estadounidense y el resto.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

En Atlanta, en un Mercedes Benz Stadium rozando el vac\u00edo, con cientos de asientos libres en la grada, el Chelsea al menos aparent\u00f3 tomarse en serio el torneo y sali\u00f3 a morder a sus rivales. Con un Cole Palmer especialmente activo, los de Enzo Maresca crearon ocasiones suficientes para adelantarse, de no ser por la tibia punter\u00eda de Noni Madueke, un cl\u00e1sico en cuanto a oportunidades falladas en la Premier League.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Tuvo que ser Neto, otro que tampoco destaca por su efectividad, el que hilvanara una de las mejores jugadas de lo que va de torneo. Recibi\u00f3 dentro del \u00e1rea un pase en largo en profundidad de Nico Jackson, tir\u00f3 a un defensa con un amago con la diestra y bati\u00f3 al portero con la zurda.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

El golazo en s\u00ed no justificaba el encuentro, pero era un buen paso, el problema fue la segunda mitad.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

El Chelsea, quiz\u00e1s por los m\u00e1s de 30 grados y la humedad del 45 % en Atlanta, empez\u00f3 a dormitar y los estadounidenses rozaron el empate en un disparo desviad\u00edsimo de Ordaz y en un mano a mano de Bouanga que desactiv\u00f3 Robert S\u00e1nchez.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
