La actriz mexicana Kate del Castillo, conocida principalmente por la serie ‘La reina del sur’, afirma en una entrevista con el medio La Opini\u00f3n que a\u00fan se siente “invisible” en la escena de Hollywood, donde las mujeres latinas siguen estando “sexualizadas”.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“Seguimos estando estereotipadas y sexualizadas. Yo, como latina, me siento invisible todav\u00eda en Hollywood”, apunta del Castillo, que en marzo estren\u00f3 su nueva serie ‘Volver a caer’, inspirada en el cl\u00e1sico de Le\u00f3n Tolst\u00f3i ‘Anna Karenina’ y en la que comparte escena con el espa\u00f1ol Maxi Iglesias.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Aunque la int\u00e9rprete asegura que a ella le abrieron las puertas “sin esperar nada a cambio”, el camino “no ha sido f\u00e1cil”, y por ello su meta ahora es interpretar personajes que no est\u00e9n marcados por estereotipos asociados a las mujeres latinoamericanas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

El diario tambi\u00e9n pregunt\u00f3 a la actriz por el contexto pol\u00edtico de Estados Unidos y sus efectos sobre las personas latinas y, en concreto, la comunidad mexicana.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
