Las mujeres afrodescendientes colombianas reivindican su papel en la construcci\u00f3n de la paz y en la gobernanza local de cara al D\u00eda Internacional de la Mujer Afrodescendiente, que se celebra el jueves.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

L\u00edderes y activistas afro se reunieron en un foro internacional virtual, ‘Mujeres afropopulares por la gobernanza local y la paz territorial’, como preparaci\u00f3n al D\u00eda Internacional y para denunciar la situaci\u00f3n que millones de mujeres viven en pa\u00edses de toda la regi\u00f3n.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Entre otros datos, se coment\u00f3 que el 87 % de las mujeres v\u00edctimas de violencia sexual del conflicto armado son afrocolombianas, seg\u00fan revel\u00f3 un informe del Centro Nacional de Memoria Hist\u00f3rica (CNMH) en 2022, cifra “alarmante” que refleja la desigualdad en este tipo de violencia, seg\u00fan denunci\u00f3 Oxfam en un comunicado.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As\u00ed, se resalt\u00f3 la incidencia y la participaci\u00f3n que las mujeres afrolatinas tienen en su “autoprotecci\u00f3n, autocuidado y cuidado comunitario” desde el liderazgo territorial, con testimonios de mujeres que compartieron su experiencia sobre desaf\u00edos a los que se enfrentan y los avances en su reivindicaci\u00f3n de la justicia.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Algunas de las amenazas a las que se enfrentan las l\u00edderes sociales, adem\u00e1s de los asesinatos, disminuyen la participaci\u00f3n pol\u00edtica de estas mujeres y la p\u00e9rdida de los avances logrados en t\u00e9rminos de derechos debido a la desigualdad de representaci\u00f3n de estas comunidades en los espacios de toma de decisiones.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Las mujeres afro, a\u00f1adi\u00f3 la ONG, se siguen enfrentando a violencia de g\u00e9nero, discriminaci\u00f3n y racismo, por lo que “es necesario continuar fortaleciendo procesos de gobernanza local” de las mujeres negras como protagonistas en la gesti\u00f3n de ciudades libres de violencias contra mujeres, j\u00f3venes y ni\u00f1as y para facilitar su desarrollo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Seg\u00fan revel\u00f3 un informe del Sistema Integrado de Informaci\u00f3n de Violencias (SIVIGE) el a\u00f1o pasado, se reportaron 216 casos de violencia f\u00edsica, 124 de violencia sexual, 26 de negligencia y abandono y 13 de violencia psicol\u00f3gica en Buenaventura (Valle del Cauca), localidad de la costa pac\u00edfica colombiana en la que predomina la poblaci\u00f3n afrodescendiente.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
