La m\u00e1s estudiada de la historia es 1987A, pero no se sab\u00eda cu\u00e1l hab\u00eda sido el resultado de la explosi\u00f3n, hasta que datos del telescopio James Webb han revelado que es una estrella de neutrones.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">La supernova 1987A se detect\u00f3 en febrero de 1987 en la Gran Nube de Magallanes a 160.000 a\u00f1os luz. Fue la m\u00e1s cercana y brillante en el cielo nocturno en 400 a\u00f1os, de manera que pudo observarse a simple vista durante varios meses antes de desvanecerse.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Un nuevo estudio con datos del James Webb, encabezada por el University College de Londres y que publica Science, ha logrado ahora evidencias concluyentes de que hay una estrella de neutrones en el remanente de la supernova.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Hasta ahora, los cient\u00edficos no han podido detectar directamente el objeto compacto que se esperaba que se produjera durante la explosi\u00f3n, porque la expansi\u00f3n de los escombros oculta el objeto entre gas y polvo denso.<\/p>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure negro.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Para el nuevo estudio se usaron observaciones del remanente de la supernova en longitudes de onda infrarrojas, utilizando espectroscop\u00eda para examinar la composici\u00f3n y movimientos del gas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">El equipo encontr\u00f3 l\u00edneas de emisi\u00f3n de gas de arg\u00f3n y azufre altamente ionizado cerca de donde estall\u00f3 la estrella original, lo que solo puede explicarse si hay una fuente brillante de radiaci\u00f3n ultravioleta y rayos X de una estrella de neutrones, ya sea directa o indirectamente.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">La detecci\u00f3n de \u201cfuertes l\u00edneas\u201d de emisi\u00f3n en el centro mismo de la nebulosa que rodea a la Supernova 1987A es una prueba directa de la presencia de una fuente central de radiaci\u00f3n ionizante.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cNuestros datos solo pueden ajustarse a una estrella de neutrones
