Shakira postpones American Concerts!
Miami, Oct 18 (EFE).-
Colombian singer Shakira has postponed the North American leg of her Las Mujeres Ya No Lloran world tour until May 2025 to move from arenas to stadiums due to high demand for tickets. “The demand for tickets and more shows has reached the point that our tour now requires stadiums in the USA and more dates,” the singer said on her website.

“The production of my show is also now so much larger and unlike anything I’ve done before. As a result, we’re elevating our North American run from arenas to stadiums and the dates will be shifted to May 2025,” she added.
Shakira also thanked her fans for their “incredible support “for the “biggest tour of her career,” the new dates for which would be announced on Monday

In April, the singer announced that her Las Mujeres Ya No Lloran world tour would kick off on Nov. 2 in Palm Desert, California, followed by a series of concerts in North America.
However, it will now begin on Feb. 11 in Rio de Janeiro, from where the singer will embark on a tour of Latin America with shows in Sao Paulo, Lima, Barranquilla, Medellin, Bogota, Santiago de Chile, Buenos Aires, Monterrey, Guadalajara and Mexico City.

In Colombia, the demand for tickets has been such that the singer has been forced to add new dates, including in her native Barranquilla, where she will offer a second concert, she announced on Thursday.
The world tour follows the release in March of Shakira’s 12th studio album, ‘Las Mujeres Ya No Lloran’, which became the most streamed album of this year within 24 hours of its release. EFE
