Pop star Taylor Swift was subpoenaed as witness!

Pop star Taylor Swift was subpoenaed as a witness in the legal battle between actors Blake Lively and Justin Baldoni over disputes arising from their film “It Ends With Us,” to be settled at a trial in 2026, TMZ reported on Friday.
The portal, citing sources close to the case, said Baldoni’s lawyer, Bryan Freedman, had subpoenaed Swift, whose only involvement in the film is as the author of a song included on the soundtrack, “My Tears Ricochet,” but who is a close friend of Lively.
Swift’s representatives told the media that the singer’s only connection to the film was that of musical license, and argued that the subpoena to testify was aimed at generating public interest by creating clickbait for the tabloids rather than focusing on the facts of the case.
The legal battle between Lively and Baldoni, who starred together in “It Ends With Us,” dates back to late 2024, when the actress accused the actor and director of sexual harassment and inappropriate behaviour during filming.
Lively then accused Baldoni and his production company, Wayfarer Studios, of carrying out a plan to damage her reputation following the sexual harassment complaint, and they, in turn, sued the actress and her husband, Ryan Reynolds, along with their publicist, for trying to “destroy” Baldoni’s career.
Amid allegations, Lively published an article in the New York Times about her complaint to the California Department of Civil Rights, which Baldoni lashed out at.
The lawsuit, which includes a 400-million-dollar claim by Baldoni against Lively, will go to trial on Mar. 9, 2026. EFE nqs/dgp
