Miami’s New Soccer stadium!
Miami (US), June 27 (EFE).- By Hugo Barcia
The new stadium of Inter Miami will be more than a soccer field: luxury boxes, concerts, and a shopping and dining center will also be part of the ‘Freedom Park’ experience.

Its inauguration is scheduled for next year -during the 2026 MLS season-, and the new stadium will be the permanent home of Inter Miami.
Until now the club has played its matches in a temporary stadium that is not even located in the city of Miami. But the new structure will increase in capacity with 25,000 people, 5,000 more than the current field.
The club expects that box office revenues will increase by more than 30% compared to this year, according to the senior vice president of Revenues and Operations of the club’s facilities, Víctor Oliver.

Even though it’s currently in the bare bones of construction many of the boxes of this new luxury experience in Miami are already sold after the club put them up for sale to the general public in May, after receiving high demand from subscribers.
The price varies greatly but can reach $60,520 for a season, according to the Miami Herald. Some of them include pitch-side seats or views into the tunnel of the dressing room through transparent glass, that will allow fans to see how the players prepare to go into the field.
Another source of income will be the club’s multi-level store which will feature several items related to star Lionel Messi, whose shirt is the best-selling in the MLS.

Uruguayan striker Luis Suárez, also an Inter-Miami player, was in second place in the 2025 sales ranking published last week by the MLS.
More than soccer
The club’s goal for the stadium is to be able to host concerts and other events, which will provide a new source of income besides their sporting events.
To facilitate this task, one of the stands will be retractable and there will be a structure installed that allows for the setup of lighting and other needs for shows.

Oliver admits that it will be difficult to compete with the appeal of other stadiums with much larger capacities like the Hard Rock Stadium, with almost 65,000 seats and just 12.5 miles away, but they still aspire to have renowned international artists who visit Miami come to it.
The project also envisions the creation of a huge park of about 56.8 acres for the city, community sports fields, as well as the arrival of restaurants, shops, and other types of businesses that surround the soccer field.
Freedom Park will occupy approximately 131 acres of land close to Miami International Airport.
“All of this obviously has an economic impact, but above all also an impact for the city”, summarized the Vice President of Marketing and Brands of Inter Miami, Yago Mariño. EFE hbc/ags
