
Man arrested for the murder of Israeli embassy aides!

The United States Justice Department on Thursday charged the man arrested on Wednesday for the murder of two Israeli embassy aides in Washington with first-degree murder and murder against foreign officials.

The indictment, filed at the US District Court for the District of Columbia, stressed that the defendant, Elías Rodríguez, confessed to carrying out the attack “for Palestine” and “for Gaza,” shouting “Free Palestine” as officers took him away from the Jewish Museum, where the shooting took place.
Records provided by American Airlines state that he flew from Chicago to Washington on May 20 and said he was carrying a firearm in his checked baggage.

In the indictment, FBI Special Agent Christina Hagenbaugh detailed that the attack began at around 09:08 pm local time, with one of the victims, Yaron Lischinsky, pronounced dead at 09:14 pm.
Sarah Miller, Lischinsky’s partner, was pronounced dead at 09:35 pm local time. Rodríguez confessed to officers that he carried out the attack.

Security camera footage shows the accused firing several shots at the victims.
The attack took place at an American Jewish Committee event at the Jewish Museum in the US capital.
